Observations
I undertake projects both here at Gothers Observatory and also as part of collaborations with observers across the UK and abroad. I always have several projects underway at any time, this allows the most productive use of observing time in light of the various conditions required. Below is a list of the various projects that I have undertaken and summaries of data produced.
Until recently, my main focus was on asteroid photometry and astrometry but more recently I have broadened my horizons to variable stars and exoplanet transits. These are areas that I will pursue further as they offer different challenges and allow me to learn new things about both the objects themselves and the techniques required to observe them.

Exoplanet transits
Project Neilbone
A British Astronomical Association observing campaign looking at phase brightening behaviour of asteroids. More details here.
Imaging polarimetry
I am currently designing and building a dual beam imaging polarimeter using a Wollaston prism. More details of this project here.
